Sai Baba Peace Awards
The annual international awards, decided by an independent Council.
About the Foundation
To establish the Sai Baba Peace Awards as one of the world's respected independent platforms recognising exceptional work for peace, humanity, compassion, reconciliation and service.
The Vision
The objective is not to imitate any existing prize. The objective is to build an Indian-origin global peace institution whose credibility, independence, transparency, scholarship, reach and longevity can place it among the world's respected peace awards.
Reputation is built through independence, clear criteria, expert evaluation, institutional continuity and decades of consistent work — never through the size of one ceremony.
A global platform for peace, humanity and service.
From India to the world — celebrating humanity and peace.

History

At an international tennis event at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Aushim Khetarpal, Founder of the Shirdi Sai Baba Foundation, presented the first Sai Baba Peace Award to tennis legend and humanitarian Martina Navratilova — recognising not sporting excellence alone, but her contribution to equality and human dignity.
From there the Peace & Unity Baton — the Mashaal — began to travel: Dallas, Atlanta, San Ramon, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Washington D.C., Vatican City and Tirana. One flame, many cultures, one humanity.
